Max is a very bad "set up" person for bikes, he does not know how to solve probs, when Rossi is a great developing rider. Max has always lacked this, and that's why he won't be MotoGP champion. If the bike is 100% perfect, he's unbeatable, just like Rossi. If his fork chatters (as it seems to be the problem since a few GP) or something else, his brain starts to lose the race before it has actually started
Agreed and I think thats what Sete Gibernaus trouble is , not set up wise but mentality , he just doesnt have that edge or the ability to destroy his opponents confidence .
And thats why as long as hes riding Vale will always be the one to beat ,
However that said .................... Give Marco Melandri another year or 2 and he will be the one to challenge Rossi properly
