I spoke to one of the engineers yesterday, he had worked at Boreham before it was closed. He now works freelance mechanic for rallycross and WRC!!!!! The RS200 is old a tired these days but is getting rebuilt but will not be used in real competition again. The fiesta is using an FFD gearbox with the 7th speed removed to allow the sequential stuff. It uses a WRC Escort floorpan grafted to the Fiesta.
I have major respect for these guys as they do not distance themselves from the crowd. Stood and watched Dermot Cernegie's team change their head, four of them working like clockwork, I could have stoof there all day.
