Default After some advice off the experts on a T28 i've just bought

Just bought this t28 roller bearing turbo second hand for my punto

once it arrived this morning i checked to see if there was any play in the shaft, there is no play back and fore but up and down there is around 2mm of play.

I gave turbo dynamics a ring and they advised me that as its got a roller bearing if no oil has run through it for some time then there will be play in the shaft (up and down) until i fit it and run oil through it

the guy i bought it off has said that it was off the car for around 2 months but has only covered about 200 miles, due to him getting different turbo

can any of the experts tell anything more around the turbo, about the blades etc?

Opinions please lads...

2mm sounds far too much play to me.

The blades look standard.

by him saying that id expect it to be fooked if you knew it had done 200 youd sell it in confidence and wouldnt say they above imo good luck fella
he said that he had the turbo checked before he sold it by turbo dynamics and they said it was fine...
