Default Just thinking, how many of you have heard of Fordsport??

I'm kinda curious to know, but how many of you have read/seen/heard about fordsport? Ok this is a bit of market reserch, but I would like you guys impressions.

What do you lot think about the club? (You can all be brutally honest about this I wont take offence!)
If Fordsport a sort of club you guys would join?
If not, why not? What puts you off?
What is it that attracts you to a club?

Input is appreciated

never heard of 'em........

Big G, i'm in kind of the same boat tbh, i joing up last August.....been to one of the meets - the nearest on is a bit of a trek, so i can't go to every one.....good bunch tho

Gary did ask me a month ago if i'd like to have a go at a proper north region north/west yorks and above......but i don't think that there would be enough interest to make it worth my time, which i have very little of anyway.....

if there's enough interest, i my give it a go with the help of a few other......

I have heard of it, but I wouldn't join as i'm not a club joining kinda person. It doesn't offer me any real reasons to join, just like the RSOC really

Well I would jointhe RSOC just to have a tax disc holder

Well this is one problem the club has had, getting northern members. There are a few still slugging it out up there, but its no where near as strong as our southern branch. While we do have a good sign up of members up north, can never seem to keep em

Itsmeagain, we have quite a few well known cars in the club. Steve and Cliff with there S1 and S2 for example. And its true we have a wide number for cars from fiesta Sis to Escort Cossies.

Deano, dont worry mate I wasn't taking thie micky, but the fact you handn't a clue who we are kinda proved a point I was making

Did anyone know Fordsport has been running for five years now?
And did anyone know that Dave Moore was a founding member? And still is a member to this day?

I've only just started going to the meets, and it comes across as being very friendly.

Definitely appears to be a good club, especially if we keep meeting at the pub with the fit barmaid

i go to all the southern meets and i will be at the show.

TBH i thought the club was much bigger, UNTIL i joined it.

always used to see the cars on the stands at shows etc, just imagined it to be a huge club on par with the RSOC and stuff. Thing is its a few core members who seem to make the appearances etc. I will certainly be showing my car with them whenever possible (as imho mine's the kinda of car that the club is all about, but then thats just my opinion on the club) and i will try and support them too. (even tho i still owe them this years membershp money )

also i wouldnt carry on with the club if it wasnt for my friends etc. as in my opinion its not got much to offer appart from the social aspect (as oposed to stuff like RSOC where you get financial benefits etc.)

The club certinately appears bigger than what it is as we have a large percentage of "Active" members.
