Default To Clarify my Resto thread

Been asked why my Resto thread has not been updated & is it still going ahead. I did leave a note in the thread that it was being transferred to Faceache then like a senile old fart I closed the thread so it was not around for long. The reason was to find a more focused forum. PF is a very wide ranging site from Cars to gardening, keepfit & youngsters sexual habits to name but a few . If your interested or just curious what we are trying to do its on.

https://www.facebook.com/fastestcosworth/

Im still a member on here although not on a regular basis now.

The reason I left Facebook is due to the numerous groups for the same thing and the even more opionionated bellends you get on there.
There's that many groups most don't have that many followers or followers come and go unlike here.

But why are you ploughing so much money into the car Rod ?

Put your life first not your car as you keep telling everyone

Are we going to get a Video of YOU doing a top speed run ? or will someone else drive it?

Facebook will have a huge audience , I wouldn't want my 200mph cossie splashed across it .

That's my experience too! I go on there as it seems to be the best way to keep in touch with old friends, but for car stuff, here wins! Hands down, Try slamber city Rod

Im 70 years old have everything I want in life. Married to Annie who is the greatest person in the world, both kids doing well, Large House & 4 cars & can afford to spend what I want on a shitty old Ford. I have money now because I did put my life before a car most on here wont have an early retirement doing as they wish because they will have wasted money & not invested it.
Ive always driven my car but consistently 3mph slower than a Guy 25 years my Junior. Ive gone faster than any other Cossie driver which is not bad for an old geezer, what will you be doing at 70 bro. So yes I will drive my car but I doubt that I can max the car out like a younger guy. Nick Answell wants to drive it because Mark has called it a day. He will no doubt be Faster than me.
My car is well insured so if someone wants to pinch it that will save me having to sell it in 2017.

Anyone that's proved there car be it on track, drag or Topspeed or Dyno session ive the utmost respect for & will tell them that. Don't judge people on here mate this is an internet Forum it aint real life well not if you are my age not so sure with you youngsters.
