Just a quick question, I have come across a December 1992 Sierra XR4x4i 2.9 in what i think is ebony black. According to the Mot history check its done 144k and over the last couple of MOT tests its done less than 1000 miles a year. I know its not a cosworth so its never gokng to be worth the same money etc, but is it somethi g worth enquiring about?

the value of these are rising as with all 80's /90's hot hatches and performance cars,
Buying and selling on for profit isn't going to get you a round the world trip but it will get you a good drink
If your buying it to keep and use then yes they make ok cars and are getting very rare now so will bring you some attention

I spoken to a friend who is in the XROC and he said in the northwest region there is only one XR4i. So he said I should defiantly enquire about it for the reasons said above. So I shall report back when I have some news

Still not heard anything from the owner but managed to get a sneaky pic the other day. Looks nothing spectacular but it is what it is an old Sierra.<br/>

No stu sadly its gone to SouthWales, some old guy offered me a very fair amount for the car and bought it without seeing it. He put the money in the bank then got his transport people to pick it up. Easiest sale of anything ive ever had.
Like i said its no cosworth or looks anything spectacular but i cant say when the last time ive seen a facelift Sierra XR4x4i 2.9

Thats a nice one Glen, how long ago did you have that?
Its a shame when you think about how many 1000's of them there were on our roads but now you might only see a sierra once in a blue moon.

Needs a rebuild next year as the oil pressure is a bit crap. Will stick with a stage 1 saph but has no lag what so ever and loads of torque. There only t2 turbos so there only good for about 250hp.
