Default MOT quick question about retesting?

So I had my MOT last Friday and it failed on a couple of things (rear spring and handbrake efficiency) they didn't have time to do the work on Friday so I booked it in for today, they did everything today apart from the rear brake shoes because they had a problem ordering the part in, so now it's going to be done either tomorrow or Thursday , I haven't decided yet.

My question is will the retest be free seeing as I'm having the work done and the retest at the same place? Should have asked but completely forgot.

By the way my car still has a ticket until 27th before anyone pulls me up on it!

Thanks

If it's left at the test station for repair then there is no fee

If they get the repair work I would think they would retest for free. They don't have to but its pretty tight not to.

Nope it wasn't, it's my only car so I couldn't leave it there over the weekend, if it wasn't safe then obviously I'd have left it there though.

Cheers lads, should be ok then as they are a good bunch. Probably why the phone keeps ringing when I'm there, and I'm only there for 2 mins dropping off and picking my car up. Better than going somewhere that's dead with no customers I suppose!

Got it all done today, they didn't charge me again so that's good, but as you all said it would have been extremely tight of them if they did charge me twice.

Thanks chaps

If you're happy with the service it might be good to mention the name!
