Default Question for Mechanics on Engine Oil

Ok so ive got a 2010 Audi 2.0 TDI and the engine oil recomended is 5-30 c3 but ive bought 5-30 c2, will this damage the car if i use it or will it be fine?

"The categories within the C class are devided along SAPS limits and along HTHS viscosities. C1 and C4 are low-SAPS oils, while C2 and C3 are mid-SAPS oils. On the other hand C1 and C2 oils have lower HTHS viscosities, while C3 and C4 oils have higher HTHS viscosities"

High temp high shear (HTHS) being the only real difference then...Prob worth a quick phonecall to Opie Oils - im sure they'd confirm straigth off for you
