Default Loss of power

Hi, can anyone advise why my car has a loss of power, I was driving normally when then power died, it struggled to pull off after I put the pedal right down.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks

I assume it is in limp mode.
The Ecu found a problem like faulty sensor and limits power.
Read fault codes and all will be good.

Yeah the light came on this morning, wouldn't start this morning but managed to get it in a garage. So just waiting for diagnosis.
Cheers guys for advise.

Could be anything, hopefully just a crank sensor.
Could be the coil pack though.
If it's those then cheap to get going, if not it could be costly.
Who knows without diagnostics though.

If it was a crank sensor it would not start imo.

I would go for los mode and a faulty o2 sensor.

Hope its a cheap fix. To plug into a diagnostic is between 30 and 50quid but no more.
