Default Bmw m sport grill????

hi everyone.
My mate has got a 535d and it's got the 3 m sport stripes on the front grill but I think they are in the wrong grill.
He has them on the drivers side grill and every other one I've looked at has the colours in the passenger side grill can anyone confirm that he has them wrong or can you get them on both sides?

not a bmw option, seen a lot, either grilles from ebay ready done, or you can get a vinyl kit to "do" your own.
get them off, it saddens me seeing m's and associated stripes when it's not an "M" car, as nice as m sports are, they're just not the real deal.
(i have an m sport and see loads trying to big up their spec)

I seen a 3 series the other day with one of these grills.

Why do most M sport owners have a M badge on them. Its like getting a ST and fitting a RS badge on it lol. Dont the newer M sport Bms come with M badges as standard now.

Not really, it's more like getting an ST and putting an ST badge on it.

Just seems daft that newer models have an m on the m sport badging.
The top range are the motorsport models, the m sport is a trim level only and can apply to most variations in the range. Basically the se's are turd and an m sport owner needs recognition of their informed decisions.
now where do i get a load of m badges from lol!

The m sports have the stripe m badges all over the place from factory, mine has them on the door step, steering wheel etc etc so it's not like your making it into something it's not, it says m sport on the log book lol

It's a level of trim, like a Ghia/Titanium etc.

Nope lol!
M sport is trim, an m is a weapon!

I know what you're saying Stuart, just seems like bmw are trying to bridge the gap with extra trim and badges.
My diesel has a smattering of m decals and stripes too, it's the badges that almost try to suggest they're 'm' cars that I'm not keen on.
