Induction kit in the front grill?
I was having a look at my Focus last night. The turbo is mounted right behind the radiator at the top of the engine.
There is a good 4" gap between the top of the radiator and the slam panel. This means it would be easy to get an induction kit right out infront of the grill.
Would this be detrimental to the filter?
Biggest concern would be having to remove the bumper every few months to clean the filter. However only a small amount of it would be in the firing line of dirt coming through the front grill.
How about rain? Is that likely to cause an issue? I personally can't see much rain getting in through the front grill but I may be wrong.
