What head gasket to use on my zetec turbo??

Default What head gasket to use on my zetec turbo??

1.8 silvertop zetec turbo
Audi tt pistons, forged rods
Devils valve springs
Rover turbo inlet
Frs t25 turbo & manifold
Omex 600
Approx 280 - 300 bhp

What head gasket shall i use??

Im using an RS multi layer gasket on a 2.1 bored out block . I hear that a lot of folks are using this type of gasket even on 1.8 litres

Can i still use this as ive gone slightly oversize bore size to fit this vw pistons, and the parts people say that the bore size on the blacktop gasket is smaller than the silvertop slightly..

Still ok to use the steel blacktop gasket?

Yes it will be fine up to 1.5mm over bore I was told.

Iv used a focus 1.8 gasket on my build same spec's as your engine , a lot of people seem to be going this way nowadays, mine will be running soon
