Default Abandoned Audi RS5 stripped by thieves

This a strange one.

So this Audi RS5 gets dumped after it cut out driving through a flood.

Then someone strips it, but why has the roof been cut off? Sections of the body work? Was someone in the process of cutting it up for scrap metal?

Waste of a beautiful car all the same.

Pretty sure but might be wrong that there made from aluminium so if it was striped would be a good payday
Stupid arses for trying to go through that in the first place plus why would you just leave it there for two weeks

the owner has probably told people to take it apart as otherwise no one would have paid out the claim on it if he's driven it and fucked the engine on it

it's not what i'd do because i woulnd't have gone through the puddle int he first palce, but i know plenty of folks who would

Not true, my ex (the nice one not the witch) drove her 6 month old Golf through a flood and ended up destroying the engine, Insurance paid out and I took the piss quite a lot.

thats been cut for accident damaged repair, i work in a salvage yard and see this quite often unfortunately, the roof and a,b,c posts have more than likely been cut so they can take the full roof with airbag curtains
