Default Car suggestions carnt make my mind up

looking for some car suggestions i really carnt make my mind up
i deally looking for a quick diesel car for around 5k

I like the w211 mercedes E320 cdi but there a wee bit old mans car (shouldnt mock i currently drive a w210 320cdi)
I like the engine and spec ect also they do moon miles if you look after them

BMW 525/530d M Sport few and far between at my budget for a M Sport, look better than the merc and in m sport spec will be a good alround car rarther than just a motorway cruser

Audi S Line but the 1.9 tdi is under powered and i know ill get bored but they do look nice and the PD is good for high miles

What ever i get is going for a trip to MSD for a remap with the miles i do it will pay for it self pretty quick.

Would go to LPG also want a min of 40mpg on a run (when behaving)

feel i have my german blinkers on and carnt think of anything else thx for any input

How about a 330d sport. Are they slightly less value than a 5 of the same yr/similar spec?

i like the idea of a e46 e330d and with a trip to MSD would be pretty quick,
and a e90 bmw 330d is more than i am wanting to spend.

keep thinking about LPG you can get a kit fitted for around Ł1,000 and petrol cars can be had for a bit less than the diesel version but not sure how a something like a reasonable power petrol car will cope in LPG

i find the BMW's very cramped compared to the E class merc, i had an old 1998 e430 merc and it was great, a friend got a 5 series and i couldn't even drive it, it was so small in the front seats, i know i'm big, but couldn't believe the cabin size difference between the 2 cars, looking to get a 320cdi estate soon around about an 03-05, the facelift E class that still had the twin light setup

i really like the e class alot, the newer one to the one i have (W211) is what i have looked at the most as my current one has been brilliant and in standard form the 320cdi engine combo is a great car carnt rate them highly enough.
