Default Van broken into with no damage, how do they do it?

Hi all, i stopped off for a few pints on my way back from work last night and ended up leaving my transit van at the pub for the night but when i got back to it today the side door was ajar and all my new power tools where gone. The strange thing is there is no sign of forced entry, the rear of the van has no key entry just the fob,the van was locked when i left it and the front was still locked when i picked it up.Any ideas how they got in??

They used to do it by cutting the central locking to the rear door in the gap on the older ones. I heard about it and fitted deadlocks , its a nightmare mate I feel for you.

check where your wires go from the right hand rear pillar into the door the mk6 doors could be unlocked if these wires were snipped .our own van was broke into like this ,you can actually buy brackets from ford to stop this happening

Surely ford should have fitted the brackets in the 1st place.

As above all they do is cut through the rubber sleeve on the drivers side rear doors, which intern shorts it some how and turns off the alarm and unlocked the doors, ford did revise the loombe the later models but was also to late for me also.

The first thing i thought was i left it unlocked in my hast to get to the pub but the cab area was still locked the next day when i returned and all doors lock off the same button. The back doors were tight upto a wall but i have still checked the seals and wires (only 2 to number plate light) which are still intact. It could have been a lot worse i am working in a prison ATM so left alot of gear on site but they still got over £800 worth and the bloody chargers which you can't do without.:wa ll:

I don't think they have cctv but the police are going to check.I drove straight to the police station who got some prints off a few bits inside the van so you never no they may find out who did it.

The company I used for the deadlocks, they fit anywhere.

They also do the cable guard.
