I guess where you live pays a big part in it. I'm very near London, so that doesn't help. Neither does losing your NCB (I have two years now, but I lost the ones I'd built up by not having a car for so long)

just over 30 and traders renewal was over 2400quid this year and that was the best I found.
So this was the end of a traders policy and given up most the work on the side now.
On the plus side, less than 500 quid on a 330 e46 vert, which it's bearable, done the 1300quid on a mk2 1.1 fiesta, it hurts pretty much everyone when they start out.

If any classic people with insure you, most have the age restriction of 25 iirc, if you find one for under 25s let me know, but you will need to ring around to get the best quotes

what about getting one of those policies that puts a black box in the car to monitor your driving ? If you're a safe driver then it's nothing to worry about..

not sure what kind of discount you get but worth a look.. even if it's only 10% that's 3 to 400 quid..

I was thinking about this but don't you have to buy The black box? I wouldn't mind one if it will bring my insurance down abit but I couldn't do with the time restrictions!

It's read wen u speed when you brake hard and make sure you don't go over the Millage

So no over taking or try over taking a slamming hard on the brakes also in terms they can adjust you insurance so say u pay 1500 u speed a bit to over take done time brake hard fur what eva the can put it up or if u can drive like miss daisy then poss go down

Yeah a nice black box that spies on you, all in the name of cheaper insurance,

Yes sir you said you keep your car at home on a drive way most of the time, but we can see that it's spent most if it's time in McDonald's carpark until 11pm most evenings
