Default Zetec turbo

Hi need some info on zetec turbo using the st170 bottom end as anyone done this and if do what parts are needing any help would be great cheers. Ash

St170 bottomend
Blacktop head with st170 springs
Arp con rod bolts
Focus rs thicker Headgasket.
Std head lots

Hi cheers mate for that is there any modding needed on the bottom end plus the black head is that the Mondeo head

ST170 is a Blacktop mate, obviously it has VVT which people don't like to use with turboing, hence using a standard Blacktop. Will bolt straight on.

The ST170 head is miles better tho, you're better of mapping the vvt or removing it and blanking the oilways etc

Not entirely true, but the head does bolt on nicely. The block, rods and pistons are all different to a UK blacktop. not sure on the rest of the bits though.

Also, last time i checked, the 1.8mm gaskets were on back order at ford Next best thing is probably a 4 layer from an st170 (don't bother with payen though, as they only list a 3 layer for st170's)
