Hi all I am bored of seeing the same old engines in sierras i.e. yb cosworth v6 and so on I would like to no if any one had dun something a bit different

i love the look of a yb in any car but going for a bmw straight six turbo in my next project

 

Don't get me wrong i love the yb and no ford porn collection is compleat without one but looking to see something different .
Love the idea of a BMW turbo lump means you can have bragging rights of a six speed box to. You are going to have to do a thred on that.

 

I got a 2.0 16v hybrid engine in kawasaki green sitting around but not put it in anything yet

Nothing out of the ordinary though.

I actually love the look of YB's and BOA's in Sierra's

 

I always wanted to put the xjs v12 into a ford on carbs but its a bit of a lump

 

Have seen SR20DET skyline engines, C20LET/C20XE engines, rover v8 engines and american v8 engines in sierra's

Sierras are collectable but very dated now.
If its a Sierra Cosworth you are talking about it came with a YB . Far better & modern cars as a base out there if you want to fit a V10 or a V8 . I would love to build a massive Spec Ultima a great base for such engine choices but old father time dictates i aint up for that anymore.

 

Was going to put a v8 bmw in a base 3dr I have but now I think it's going to be a 1.6 Zetec s engine turbo,d as it maybe a test car for a dry sump kit , and to help make the car lighter
