downloading a series of a TV program using Azureus..the whole series is just over 8.4gig....Now question....

Just having a look through the details on azureus...there are 65 seeders 100% finsihed and 9 leaches (one being me ) BUT i'm not getting a SINGLE bit of the torrent from the seeders ONLY the other 8 peers. Only started it last night and done 280meg so far...but only seem to be getting rates of the other peers. So is one of the peers using something that i'm not aware of?

IS there a way round it? as i've just upgraded the net connection and wanna get the use out of it..

It could be that the peers do not have anything to send you (you have the majority of the packets) or that you may be snubbed (bad user). Rare but becoming more common, all the peers are leechers and refuse to send.


Is there an 'external announce' option?

got a 3meg connection about 50kb/sec up 360kb/sec down.

this is the only thing i've got downloading atm...just seems wierd.

i was using netlimiter so that upload can't go over 30 but with only 8 peers i really don't see why the seeders ain't giving us no rates! Turned it off about 30 mins ago and one of the peers maxxed out my upload within 2 mins coont.... but the download stayed the same...

just a bit confused..........................

Hi Mate,

You could try newsgroups! They will max out your cable modem and there is no P2P so it is a lot better

I just did a search and I found quite a bit, doesnt look like ALL of the 3rd series but there are quite a few

The membership to that site is only about 2.50 for 8 weeks which isnt bad!

Newsgroups cost about 7 quid a month but they will max your connection out all day every day if you want it to

just done a search on kazza lite k++ theres loads of Enterprise
on there have you got the program
it will run sweet on 3meg
if you want it pm me got 7 versions of it can send it to you via msn
done it with 3 pf users
