Default ebay problem pls help

i won an acution thursday for a subwoofer and the seller wanted to be paid by cheque, I sent a couple of emails asking for his details but the emails keeped comming back to me. I have latter found out he details using the pay now feature but it has no phone number just hes house address. With a non working email address and no phone number i'm started to get a bit worried about sending off my money and not reciving my goods. This guys feedback isnt brillant and hasn't done any ebaying for over a year.

I really don't know what to do, should i risk loosing my money or risk getting in trouble with ebay for non payment?????

anyhelp would be great

Robin

Its simple , dont pay and when ebay investigate tell them you couldnt get in touch with him after trying on numerous occasions
He will have to get in touch to report you for non paying and take it from there

Sorry Robin, but my gut reaction is that I wouldn't touch it with a bargepole - the guy's obviously looking for more money for it and and is ignoring you in the hope you'll go away.

Report to eBay.

Best thing is to notify Ebay about your problem and the intention of not paying and give your reasons. Save there replys and then if he reports you, you have basically grassed him up first for being a poor ebayer and wont have a leg to stand on.
