Default 4.0 v6 will fit in sierra

Hi first i want to say english is not my born language i hope to understand me.Im thinking to fit 4.0 v6(cologne) to sierra and i hope if anyone done or know something about conversion to help me.
i will use type 9 v6 gearbox,2.3 v6 flywheel and clutch.

Welcome bud, do not see it being any different too fitting a standard 3 litre or 2.9 litre into a sierra, however the Type 9 gearbox is shit and WILL break!

4.0 Explorer motor does fit.

bit of an odd choice and they do not like to rev!

I know is not the best but here is no more than 10 engine 2.9 cosworth or 2.0 cosworth.And if have something to sell will be a price of 2000 euro or more.Even the Cologne 2.9 v6 is not easy to find,and will be a same money like 4.0 v6.I need the engine for have fun in weekends.So im a fan of Drift and i need NM not to much bhp for this reason my choise is 4.0 v6.

it'll fit but i think it's taller block than the 2.9 so you may need to use the same gearbox

unless you can find a different bellhousing

everything else is vitually the same

So i will not drive 4.0 v6 i find a 2.9 24V BOB.So now is already in car and need info about the wiring.I need to give +(power to ecu) and ground.Is more necessary.If any one have some pics will be nice.And the ecu must see gearbox is neutral position any idea .

you can use the boa wiring loom which is much easier to get working and the ecu isn't as complicated to cheat into thinking it's still in the granada

will try with EECV i have key and reader from donor car.Here is very rear and not possible to find BOA wiring and ECU.

About gearbox is necessary to do make any connection like this http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/cgi-bin...num=1285441192 or just leave wired free.

Hi, im moving forward.So we start to connect pin by pin.Find this white connection give power from battery,ground from battery and power after switch to ECU need to know on that blue what fuse is necessary. And some pick of my lock of steering.
