Default Stolen car!!!!

My mates Granada was stolen last night from a garage forecourt in Docking, Norfolk on the night of 3/7/13

Name: null_zps996a3b2c.jpg
Views: 55
Size: 161.8 KB

It is exceptionally clean and has just been fitted with a 24v cosworth v6 and has 9j banded steelies which have just been painted grey

Anyone see or hear anything please get in touch

There is a cash reward for information relating to the return of the car

Thanks Billy

As many pics as possible plus identifing pictures of engine and other custom bits

then an as many forums as you can! this way it is more likely to be reported!

Agree also with the banger racing theory.

Problem is waiting till an event crops up is probably too late as it will be wrecked preping it up for the track.

Might be worth posting up on the banger racing forums. Folk might be able to point you in the direction of racers in your area who might be on the dodgy side.

Norfolk is the banger racing mecca aswell. I would guess rhis is where this is headed. This used to happen a lot in the 90s from what iv been told.

They have damaged the door lock, ignition barrel and done 36miles in it with no exhaust system (only manifolds). A few phone calls were made to friends in the banger scene and luckily a friend of a friend of a friend "bought the car off pikeys" Thursday morning. We were very lucky because we were told had the call came the next day it would of already been stripped ready for banger racing this weekend! But the car is back and even though it has some minor damage it's nothing what isn't fixable

Lucky! Well, sort of... At least its back safe, with minimal damage.
Granadas aren't exactly ten a penny if it wasn't seen again!

My mate hasn't even driven it since the engine was fitted it went to the garage to have some paint corrected from a previous job and it was meant to then go get the exhaust made and mot'd. When we picked it up from his mate he had a few Oldskool bangers there and I pretty sure he has the parts to repair it so it should be on the road soon. I will see if he wants to bring it to ford fair and display it on the passionford stand

I didn't realise he had these wheels on it when it was stolen I see it the day before it was taken to the garage and it was on the banded steelies. They will be back on soon though

That is fantastic news and very lucky by the sound of it.

Any word on the thieving pikeys? Police involved etc ? or when are their caravans being burned down? About time some ''justice'' was brought to these thieving scumbags out there

Youd think buying it off pikeys "cheap" in what turns out to be a decent shape car would have raised alarm bells

Infact why would anyone buy ANYTHING off a pikey?? theres a 95% chance its stolen goods so unless you are a scumbag why would you buy stolen stuff??
