Default 1100+bhp zetec drag car

Just been reading about this Brazilian drag car, going for 1600ho with nitro

"Avelino Queiroz from Salvador,Brazil.I bought from you a Ford Zetec Head. That engine is already done but I had no chance to put the car at track.I stoped running for 4 years.I tested that engine at Dyno and we take about 1.130hp from it with 50psi pressure , no nitro .The car is beautiful.Look at some pics at this e-mail.Now I am returning to competition."

What a mad choice of engine for a drag car!

Fair play though.

If he had invested his time and money into a VTEC or a Vaux engine he may of had even better results.

Good luck to him

Obviously he wants to be different, and 1100hp in any 4 pot is an achievement

What's that got to do with the price of eggs?
This is a ford site...... And with a lot of zetec fans I thought it would be of interest!
