Attention passionford painters help please
Ok guys I've got a 3 door escort gti in panther black and I'm wantin the rear arches replacing, both sides and both bumpers painting. I'm going to buy the arch panels but then I want do drop the car off and pick it up done.
So the million dollar question is how much should I be looking at as I'm off quote hunting over the next two weeks.
I know different people have different prices so I'm interested in as many opinions as possible so I can make an average from the prices given.
Just to let you know the bonnet roof and boot are mint and whilst I realise its practically a full respray it's not a massive car by any means and I know that taking the bonnet roof and boot out of the equation takes a fair bit of hassle out for the painter.
Many thanks in advance guys please discuss

Giving a quote Without pics is like trying to catch urine while pissing in the wind mate
At the workshop, I'll/we'll not give out a quote without seeing the car first as what the customers thinks needs doing and what actually needs doing are usually worlds apart

I see your point but its simply cut it old arches fit new prep and paint both sides and both bumpers minor filler work for car park dings there's probably 8 on the entire car both bumpers are good but the front has stone chips
Just wanted a rough idea I'd like to get it done for 600 but don't know if its possible

A pro painter might see more dents than you, if it was me I'd get all the dnts pulled out rather than filled.
To keep prices down it would be easier if you took bumpers, door cards, window rubbers out yourself.
It all adds to labour costs.

That's a good point but I'm not doing the dents they can lol however I'm happy to remove bumpers skirts bump strips mirrors and the rear quarter glass (I hate masking lines) maybe I should tell him this I'd also be happy to build it back up as its my car I'd rather it be built back up my way
