i dont matter what side its on because pumps have long enough hoses to reach over .
ive never understood the muppets that side waiting for one on their side when the other pumps are free.
cos having the hose rubbing against the car can scratch the paint / laquer...found this out with the air hoses, now maek sure they go under the car and tyre "pins" the hose down so it doesn't retract .
What do you drive? Just so everybody knows not to buy one of them.. lol
Wait a minute, on closer inspection when driving earlier, i noticed the actual picture of the pump on the gauge is in the centre of the gauge BUT to the left of the needle(which is on the right of the gauge) so i guess its correct for me then after all

That's why I just hold the loose hose in my other hand while refuelling, so it's clear of the body work.

Same as fast guy said. I just hold the hose in the air away from my car to prevent scratching. should start wearing gloves though as my hands always stink of diesel after lol
Didn't matter... they'd all run out before it dipped below 1/4 of a tank anyway and leave you stranded on the side of the motorway at night in the pissing rain, wanky old Ford shit.
