ive done this to my xr2i mate and not loads you need.need rst block, turbo, exhaust, loom ecu etc.it can be done with a mix n match of parts which i did.get yourself onto www.fiestaturbo.com as plenty of topics on this which had been done in the past

personally found easiest way to do something like this is get a crash damages fiesta turbo, both cars next to each other and swap over whatever you need, much better than a load of un tested mix matched bits off ebay. Fiesta Turbo has EFI as opposed to MFI on the escort turbo. Also have you thought about fitting a 2.0 Zetec from a mk1 mondeo? fairly easy to do. Google is your friend here as this has been covered 1000's of times and loads of info and guides out there

Personally i wouldnt ruin a xr2i as they are so rare now. Why not just get a normal mk3 and convert that?

i also forgot to mention i have a full exhaust downpipe whole pipe and backbox scorpion 3 inch tip which you will also be needing i am able to supply you with everythin you need apart from turbo, and radiator i have a cooler which is standard, exhaust, bottome end zvh 1.8 with all breathers have it in car now removed it because of a problem with the head which was causing it to smoke now i am going down a completely diffrent route in the search for 300 bhp, other than that you have most bits already such as inlet manifold, cyl head which you can use for the frst conversion the heads are the same and so is the inlet maifold

your loom is fine to use with an ofac ecu and its map and air temp sensors! just change the polarity around on the air temp sensor plug. you will need to change to a 2 pin one (like the one on your injectors) cut pin 2 on your eidis plug, and your wires are sorted.
then either get yourself a set of rst pistons or frst block (easier) and use your head of your car. you may as well use a t3 turbo and manifold and down pipe, plus you will need a T piece for the back of the block either from a erst or frst this is for your oil feed to the turbo and obviously a new high pressure oil feed hose for your turbo.

theres other stuff too like clutch, intercooler, and exhaust but all together its a piece of piss and will take you a weekend at the most when you have the bits sorted.

cheers mike

zvh complete block as it is -200 painted red new seals when it was built covered about 2000k- comes with de-comp plate and head bolts all you need to do is attach ure head to this zetec block and with the adaptor plate inbetween it will work sweet as a nut, when built i cheked compression ratios and they were spot on for turbo, i was running 12psi all day long noproblems

rst block this is a fiesta one-90-block with oil t-piece and press sensor have pistons and crank to go with it all in bits was going to re-build never got round to it

head with green injectors, all turbo sensors on inlet manifold, polished inlet manifold-chrome and fuel rail throttle body etc - 200 however you do not need this but is very fancy if u are intrested

should also have a loom and ecu sorted or just the ecu if its going to be ofac will now later on.....wat u have been told earlier is correct ofac on xr2i loom is fine just havce to do a few bits very easy to do

yours is not ofac because its xr2i its a 1afa you can tell by the print on the ecu, if u want to keep your loom which i would advise to save on budget get hold of a ofac ecu a ofac map sensor which looks a bit like the xr2i one and you will need a air carge temperature sensor from ebay of similiar i have a bosch part number somewhere for it cost me a score works a treat

yeah it depends how quick you want it done.parts can be sourced from various ways.i used a frst block with original xr2i head but bought a new frst camshaft for it.my mix n match engine hasnt done too bad for the 2+ years ive been running it.only went to the wall 2 months back which by taking head off this week discovered the head gasket has blown between cyl 1 and 2.literally blown through lol.nice easy fix and the enjoyment starts again

there is also a small addition to the xr2i loom to drive the amal valve!

Also if you have a look at the ecu it will say ofab or ofac on it! you can't miss it!

if you have a bit more cash have a look at boost monkey ofam ecu! I am interested but not ready just yet!
