whats the best cam for s2 rs turbo
as above, going to add front mount intercooler, chip and aleady have a filter and an exhaust just not sure what cam to fit

when i had my series 2 i used the piper 285t2 cam kit
was a good cam
think there is better up to date cams these days like newmans kits

Personally i think the newman cam is the best for a series 2 i wouldnt touch kent or piper if it was me.

I would go for either a Newman cam or genuine Ford.

As above. Up to 210 ish Bhp standard cam. After that Newman cam and solid lifts.

I had a 285T2 and a lightly uprated head on my old S2 and it went like a bastard, if I was doing it again these days, I'd likely look into a Newman after the stuff I've read on here.

I've had a few 285t2 and don't rate them. Out dated, poor quality ( wear out quick) and creat a lag monster then big torque serge.

thanks for all the help, if i was to use a standard cam, front mount intercooler and a chip would i get 200bhp

yeah with a -31 and a decent tuner (MFI is a fiddly f*cker at times) 200bhp is easily achieved
then you can start saving for gearboxes lol

Thanks for the help mate, lol I was thinking about getting a spare box, are the quaife lsd and uprated bearings good and do they last
