Those would be carbon ceramic one's, but Rod doesn't run on them.

No one would ever dispute martins would be faster from a standstill. Its a 4x4 striped out track car. Rods is more about in gear power and is a 5 seater road car thats rwd lol. If they was to meet at 60 you would see how different the too car are as rods is more in gear on the move power and that is wear its hugely fast and would drive away

Martins old car did a sub 6 second 0-100mph IIRC, but his new one I dont think has matched that, its only done sub 7 that I know of (well I say only, thats still mentally quick of course!)

Rod's has done sub 7, 0-100mph too, and I think if he bothered to put the right tyres on it for taking drag racing seriously (ie really wide road legal drag tyres) he could probably get that down. 4wd isnt really that much of an advantage getting off the line as you start getting onto decent tyres, in fact if anything its a disadvantage, the fastest drag cars in the world are rwd, the next fastest are fwd, and the 4wd is the slowest format at the top levels of racing.

No such thing as a single best answer, very dependant on application, for Rod to really get his off the line well though he wants to be 300+ wide and a nice tall sidewall that can collapse, like the sort of stuff pateman runs on his calibra etc.

Well, if he gave a shit about quarter miles, which he doesnt!

This is a road car on road legal tyres:

Obviously a road car very focussed on drag racing, but none the less genuinely in road legal trim.
