Quite happy with the 12.6 sec with a terminal of 128mph just wish I could get it off the line better i'm sure I could get an 11 second quarter then.

Not at all mate, i've been around long enough to roughly guess power to terminals matey...
If i were you Rich i'd stick with your power now, usuable and fun mate and let's face it, 516bhp isn't shy.. what torque did it make Rich??

Taking it down to Calsport tomorrow morning to have the entire underside done.

Yep standard diff and gearbox both with the same oil I bought the car with nearly 8 years ago now
That will be changed when the underside is done next week, well the oil anyway. Might beable to stretch to a gripper diff depends how the money goes.

60ft - 2.3140
330ft - 5.8251
1/8th - 8.5801 @ 89.09mph
1000ft - 10.8763
1/4 - 12.9151 @ 114.77mph
You got off the line better than me but must of had lots of wheelspin through 2nd gear.
When yours grips it does shift

Dragging my own thread back up here but I have a question about terminal speeds.
Why is it that I can have such a high terminal speed of 128 mph @ 12.6 and Forevaford does a 117 mph @ 12.5?
I assume he gets better traction with less speed and I get worst traction and make it up with the extra bhp hence the higher terminal.
But Scoooby Slayer has a whooping 900bhp and does 134mph terminal which is only 6mph faster than my 516bhp.
Does aero start to come into it at a certain speed?
Cheers Rich

R888s are terrible for 1/4 mile racing, you can't get them hot enough, plus the side wall is way to stiff.
Mph is hp
ET is how efficient you are with the above.
My Renault 5 has run 12.1@110 on slicks and a 1.73 60ft.
The 60ft is the
Most important time for getting a great time.

I know different tracks have different grip, but my old cossie running coilovers, 235 40 17 Goodyear f1s and mapped at 380bhp on light blues used to get 12.4 quarters all the time at the pod, cant remember the terminal speed, would have put it on other tracks if some thieving little ***** hadn't broken in and stripped it bare
