hi model is a 307 110 hdi rapier, 2003, right around 6 weeks ago this 1st happened car is driving perfectly normal when all of a sudden just cuts out, and rolls to a halt , starts after a couple of turns then drove away, no isues, happening more often now seems to be when letting off throttle, on display couple of times has thrown up anti pollution fault on dash display, have had it read on machine sais dpf filter blocked , so have removed that soaked it in cleaner and flushed thoroughly, left to dry refitted , had ecu reset, tookj out earlier less than mile from home did it again just cuts out no warning just dies , any help appreciated running out of ideas now and all peugot are interested in is trying to rape me for new dpf filter but i dont think its this causing it as today dash display says nothing just cutting out ,

 

hey buddy prob not to much help but there is a cleaner out there that cleans partical filters, my mate did a 307tdi at his work the other day with a product call "forte"

Hi there sounds like it's the Differentual sensor if u look on the p filter u will have a pipe on each side pop both pipes off and lightly blow through with an air line be carfull as u can fuck the sensor if u blow to hard

 

My 406 hdi used to do something similar and it was the fuel pressure regulator/sensor. Changed that and sorted it

 

Might be worth checking the multiplug on the pressure sensor just incase. You need to remove the battery and the tray to get right into it as its on the baulkhead in behinde the batt. Unlikely that it will be lose or anything though

 

Clean the Fule pressure Reg located on the High Pressure fuel pump (Runs off the cambelt)

 

Had those symptoms on a few hdi's in at work,on those it was the fuel pump that was breaking up and putting tiny bits of swarf into the common rail set up,there should be a tiny metal gauze on the back of the fuel pump,if there is swarf there,set fire to the car and run away!
