For me TA is used as a advert tool for the major brands likes of K-Sport and BC as it hits their target audience, these companies also sponsor the championship so I find it hard to believe that they would pay the entrance fees. Now the tuners that used to run cars likes of RCM & Zen aren't willing enter as they aren't getting the same return for their investment.

At this years autosport show the TA stand had 2 cars on it the Gobstopper and CPR evo, if it was trying to attract new racers to the championship why did it not have any club class cars on display or at least not have only Jap cars on show.

A few were asked but these cars were being built over the winter and unavailable.

But lets be honest having the two best pro cars over the last two years was the nutts

There was a number of pro cars that said last year 2011 was a year out for time and maybe build something new. 2012 will be a big year for TA to see if these cars come back or the new built monsters enter.

As well as the tyre announcement, will the pro cars get a track focused tyre?

I tried to budget 400-500 quid for a race weekend.

As warren has said their is other race series but our cars began life as our road cars and mine as I'm sure warrens is still my pride and joy. I wouldn't want anybody rubbing doors with it.

Time attack is quite challenging and very enjoyable. And believe it or not is quite close with the wide range of different cars.

TBH can't see tuners spending nearly Ł100k building a car these days. Think the club classes will get bigger but can't see there being another Gobbstopper for a good few years to come. It's great seeing Warren, Ron and Jacko showing that you don't need a Jap car to be in TA.

Would like to see it back on the TV as it seems every other championship is on even the F1 stock cars but from a broadcasters view it's not racing door to door so it's hard to put it across in a short programe.

Like I said a above Ron it's great to see you Warren and Jacko racing and doing well which is even more impressive as you do it with very little sponsorship.

Double that budget for the new one

Well good on them if they as it's a major risk for that outlay at times like these. Last I heard it wasn't going ahead as they were moving to new premises and had just shelled out on a new dyno. Think we need to twist Andy Gallagher's arm and get him back out racing on the track and not in the forrest as he on more than 1 occasion beat Olly.

Yeah I know that, he has ment to have bought a rally car which could be turned into a nice track car. Even mark Higgins has turned to track racing these days in the national legends championship.

andy only done the race series as he was on a driving ban, he has no real interest in circuit racing hence when he got his licence he sold his focus ( btw, THAT is called "living the dream" when you have that option to race saloons to keep you busy whilst riding out a driving ban, that is a true petrol head ! )

Come along with some friends and prove it in a safe and controlled environment that really allows you to explore your cars' full performance.
