Right few weeks ago got the escort rs turbo s2 out of the garage give it a wash put it back in the garage and the back wheels locked now got the passager one moving but cant get the driver side moving etc .

chock the front wheels so it can't run you over, get under the car and give the back plate on the brake drum a smack.

in future don't apply the handbrake when parking up just after you've washed it!

As above - shoe will be stuck in the drum. I just drove mine, makes a bang and shudder when it frees but worked for me. Now I don't leave the car for any prolonged period with the handbrake on - brick either side of the wheel instead.

Years ago I had the same with a citroen ax I left standing whilst on holiday, phoned my mate who runs the local garage and explained what was wrong, he turned up with a lump hammer and clacked the rear wheel, job done. I felt a tit!!

Or just leave it in gear! As said you can normally just drive off and it will free it, although you may need some considerable revs and a sharp clutch engagement can help!
