i had a compbrake 4 pot 330mm set up on my saff before i got aps and they would fade out after some real abuse! also after being left for a while as the car is not always used the pistons in the callipers would stick and need striping and cleaning up which became annoying

currently no calipers at all! its a focus with st170 hubs and approx 350bhp frs engine thats in it.
looking to put 17`s on it and keep the standard st170 wheel size and offset, without using wheel spacers.

for a simple effect braking set up to give you some perspective, find some mk2 focus st calipers and discs, redrill the discs and you should be able to simply bolt them up to your hubs
you get 320mm discs which are good enough to stop a heavy mk3 mondeo in a car that will probably be 2/3rds the weight so should give you a good starting point
