As above.

Seen this car being sorted by Paul Howard. Top bloke.

Car is crazy quick. Wider arches on it were all done by my cousin, all lead filled and done properly. I love the fact its still got all the mod cons.

Always loved this car. Trust me, you cant go far wrong buying from Paul.

If it was the yellow 1 from CRD then that was a full spec drag car with 1200bhp iirc. If you were to look at a r33 gtr with the same power then they aren't much cheaper and TBH the supra is a much better looking car.

Nice car but at that power it will be too unreliable
I give it a week and something costing thousands will have failed/broken

I'm not in the market for something like this, however if I was, without any hesitation I'd be paying someone who doesn't feature in this cars history, but knows these cars inside and out, some cash to go over it with a fine tooth comb and check that it is what it says it is, before parting with almost 30k for a Supra.

If it came back without any major concerns then I'd be all over it like a tramp on chips because like you said, life is for living.

Cheers,
Grant

I agree, I didnt say it was but I would rather a 500hp R34. Its your car though and i hope you enjoy it.

Just dont take it back to TDI whatever you do!

500 hp soon feels tame though, i dont think the supra will ever feel tame

if i need any work doing that i cant or dont want to do i think il ask jamie p who he uses as he has one of the fastest supras around i think.

All that power RWD....wowwww! Thank God it has traction control!

Is that a properly built all round car then? Or is it more a big power drag wonder?

The things you can check are going to be pretty basic really. Your better of saving the money for when something does break.

Things will break if its used hard for long enough, but they would if you'd had it built youself. In BHP per litre terms its inline with a 550-600hp Evo/cossy. 500hp Honda etc etc.

Looks to be a very serious car, a guy in the village has one pushing 800hp, good for 1000hp though but it is a road car. I know that his cost a shed load to build so yours is a cheap car in comparison, I wouldn't fancy having to fix it though !

If you use the Mk4 supra forum I think his name is Terminator on there, externally the car looks nigh on stock so if you see it about prepare to have some fun !

cool il keep an eye out. as for power i certainly wont be running up the road at 900hp all the time, 6 - 700 will do me and save the 900 for pod or a track day, it has proper silenced exhaust so should be quiet enough to get on bedford autodrome etc. that is assuming i dare take it on a track day ? pods 100% a go though

skyline is in pieces now, needed clutch looking at and brakes so ive broke it for parts it will yield a good return again like the old cossie did im sure.

the problem with the skyline was working on it, was a complete headache to work on, now the supra has the jap reliability but easy to work on like a cossie, the supra is win win imo.

the only downside is my 0 - 60 in 3.3 seconds are now out the window lol

are the prices in the advert for the engine etc billy bullshit?? or is "JDM tax" worse than cossie tax??

They claim 50-60k on the engine rebuild when even you totalled up only £20k in parts.
