but to answer your question no £20k wouldnt cover it, i was being conservative as you have to be when priceing up a cars worth in parts to get a sensible resail value
this car is worth mega money in parts so its all good imo
car is also a 1 owner car with 42000 miles on the clock. theres a good chance its been well looked after being 1 owner for 10 years.

strange how people say an old sierra in standard form can be worth 10k on top of that supra though! (and actually sell for it too!)
find 900 bhp cheaper elsewhere.. bet you cant!
unreal motor, even if it 'only' made 700bhp. thats a serious car!

since that dyno run was done the car has had a new head to same spec and brand new turbo, it was only 600 miles ago dyno run was done aswell.
the exhaust is truly a work of art, ive never seen anything like it.

Fucking lovely car, Im very very jealous.
Supra's are a favourite of mine to begin with, and thats pretty much the ultimate spec for it.
I dare say if you take it out and drive it hard a lot when the previous owner hasnt you'l find a few problems so I would want some extra money in the bank set aside for that, but other than that I think its a brilliant bargain for the 25K or so Im guessing you gave for it?

did well on petrol aswell i reckon, proper just cruising but managed 280 odd miles with 1/4 tank left so should do 370 to a full tank.
before anyways says it no i dont give a toss what fuel it uses but it proves its set up fairly well to cruise and return that mileage with a 3.4 litre motor.
the fuel tanks are 70 litres so its returning 24 mpg cruising that was ranging from 60 - 77 mph.
im pretty sure thats a good cruise tune considering a cossie only returns early 30 mpg at best with just 2.0 of capacity.
what i find very strange is tdi mapped it on esso 97 ron ?
i guess its a good thing though as i run v power 99 so extra safety margin in theory.

thanks for the comments. i know its not a ford but the first few stones on the road to my dream car were all cosworths, its just grown from a stage 3 saph 10 years ago to this today the ultimate road car imo, that could be used on track or at pod aswell.

I agree that it looks miles better in the pics you've taken yourself, hope running in and all subsequent abuse it gets goes without a hitch. It'll be pretty lively when it's on high boost getting its ring booted!!
Cheers,
Grant
