strip the seats, carpets and any foam crap out as much as you can and hang it all up in a warm place. ideally need to get a heater in the car too with the windows open.

if you don't do that it'll take forever to get rid.

after stripping the car of carpets, seats door, cards and anything else that might be damp what about hiring a dehumidifier, you could buy one as they are not that dear

You need to air the car out and stuck some sort of air coditioner into it to dry up all the mosture. Getting the interior out will get rid of most of the moisture and then you dry the rest of it out but it's a lot of hassle if things get fucked up along the line.

De-humidifyer?

plug it in and leave it inside.

All fabric would need cleaning I would have thought as it'll stink in the summer

If it were me I'd pull the fusebox out etc and shove it in the airing cupboard etc, pull all connectors and put electric grease on them, any contact cleaner etc.I'd avoid wd40 as it's sometimes a bit too oily for electrical work.
I'd be amazed if you get much bother with it though, most electrics are pretty tough, and disposable really,up to sills is fuck all.

all lights wipers horn ect work fine and it started first time off the key,its a bit strange because most water was either in rear footwells or spare wheel well.i took all rubber bungs out of sills ect and there was no water in the.ive got a vax washer so all seats carpet ect will be washed with this and then dried out.was very clean water that came out of spare wheel well but till i get in touch withg previous owner i wont know what happened to it.

if its only up to the inner sills then only carpets should be saturated, but youll want seats and door cards out too to dry all the condensation and damp.

what about pullies on the bay? bearing etc, would it be worth taking a close look at these, depending how it was angled when flooded it could have sat nose in?

Just a thought incase you get issues down the line from things drying up.
