went out with a mate one sunday morning said i will be back in a bit
came back with a 4x4 saff lol
she was standing at the bed room window watching me drive up the road in it
she wasnt very happy
then a mate came round and we went out for a drive init and came back the next day

YES. 
I picked this up on Saturday and made a 500 mile round trip for it.
Told her I was working my regular Saturday 9 - 5:30 day so had to leave Mine at 5:30am on Saturday to be back in time, then got back to Hereford and went on the piss with her Saturday night then she was calling me a lightweight all day yesterday as I kept falling asleep in the garden :Cry: if only she knew the truth.....which hopefully she never will. I'll sneek off a few week nights and days off to build it up then tell her I bought it for an absolute bargain.

She get what she wants and i get what i want as long as it don't involve getting into debt! Just the way i like things.
I've heard so many stories of guys having to get rid of their pride and joy because they having a baby,buying house etc or the misses has said so.I don't think so! even she agree's !

when i went to buy the old van i didnt tell her but needed her to drive so told her "we're up at 3 to go out" right she said.
as we pull up outside CSM's house (after 220 miles) she says your not buying that!
tough, so it came home with me
i cant complain though as she came home with a chevy pick-up about 2 months later

Mate bought a Ducati desmosedici for Ł40k and told the wife it cost him Ł7k. She met one of his mates down the street and was chatting with him and he asked her how he let him buy a Ł40k motorbike dropping him right in it! She went home and book a 5k Holiday for her and some mates.

Not hid out from a bird but when i was 16 i bought a black orion 1.6i ghia on a b reg had it parked round the corner from the old dears and used to drive it to work had it 6 months then someone went into the back of it when i was waiting to turn right so i ended up fleeing and burnt it out. I remember the old chap was amazed at how quick i passed my test lol looking back it was stupid and i wouldn't even drive a car without tax to the post office now

lol, she just rolls her eyes and says, "another one!" Then I have a few options. 1) Laugh it off. 2) Say it's a money making project 3) Tell her it cost a third of what I paid or it is priced well under what it's worth. Thankfully, this is pretty much true... most of the time.

When i bought the St the first she knew was when i sent her a picture of it saying like my new car, she knew i was thinking about getting one but just thought f**k it one day and went and bought one!

I had a day off in october 2009 and was bored stiff so phoned the wife and said "you know when im bored i buy things well ive just ordered a new UG rs focus" she didnt belive me until it turned up in june 2010

i waited for my wife to go on holiday before buying the mondeo and used it to collect her from the airport
but other than the variety i bought back in the day as breakers that i'd dump outside the hosue and merrily strip while my folks went mad about me bringing down the tone of the neighbourhood is countless

i must have picked a good misses! she just says you earn it buy what you like. only thing is i have to save for bloody ages thats the hard bit.. id like a 220 st for the run about good thing is she likes one to

I've found that life I needed.. It's HERE!!
Were saving for our wedding next year so when she found out I got a pug 205 gti she went nuts, only paid 150 notes and a set of 17in wheels/ tires but it's super mint and the engine is fukt, was plannin on swappin the engine and runnin it over summer but she thinks I'm gonna sell it when it's done, it's a keeper !
