Been there done that,been caught out a few times,usually just leads to a huff and a shoulder shrug.
Gods honest truth this,seriously weird situation.
I bought a car years ago and parked it up and forgot about it,from what I can remember it's either a golf or an astra,straight up I don't know what it is,I took it as part of a deal and had so many cars the missus would have flipped so I parked it and left it,somewhere in Swansea!!!
To this day I have no idea where it is or what happened to it,it was back in the days before sorn etc so you could leave cars wherever and just come back to them as long as they weren't getting in peoples way etc.
It was through a mate of a mate type of thing and I remember it being a complete bucket,I dropped it up his yard and just never went back.I couldn't get to the yard again if I tried!!no doubt it was scrapped years ago but a very spooky moment!!!

guy i work with bought a subaru about 4 mnths ago and only came clean after him and his missus finished a couple of weeks ago
still wonder if the purchase made up his mind for him

the misses may moan but she knows she wastes enough cash not to be able to tell me what i can or cant do with my cash.

i waited for my wife to go on holiday before buying the mondeo and used it to collect her from the airport 
but other than the variety i bought back in the day as breakers that i'd dump outside the hosue and merrily strip while my folks went mad about me bringing down the tone of the neighbourhood is countless

Brought my first ST200 without telling the missus. She only found out when I suggested a shopping trip to the outlet centre in Ashford. When she had finished I told her I had to pop to another place and went got the car.

dad went out and brought a new mondeo st tdci and my mum dont like driving it lol she wants a fiesta and my dad said get stuffed im having a new van so she kurbed the alloys on the st and my dad wernt happy lol

i usually leave pics of it on the desktop etc so she already knows before i suggest it,
have been other times where i.ve bought cars left a deposit and then went and told missus, then you say "ffs i gave a deposit ill lose that if i dont buy it"

I bought my xr2i on ebay, the guy delivered it and I put it straight in the garage! The first she knew was when I was stripping it and bits kept on appearing in the house! She thinks I'm doing it up to sell it!

My girlfriend always says she doesnt care when I show her cars and ask if shed mind if I bought this one or that one etc, but then moans when I say im getting a car she doesnt like lol, so I told her im just going to get the car I want since she doesnt even drive. I probably wouldnt be getting rid of my RS1800 if it wasnt for her lol

I almost did, I put a 700 quid bid on a Bedford Rascal of all things on eBay when I was pissed, got up the next day and had totally forgotten about it until we were just about to go out, then thought "shit, why the Fuck did I do that?", had to get the missus to show me how to retract the bid, she saw the funny side tho lol

I havent but my Dad has done it loads of times, trouble is im starting to turn out like him so it wont be long before im on the slippery slope

i dont tell the wide how much it all cost ie my fiesta cosworth is just a crappy 1.6 that cost £700 and my escort cosworth i paid 1k for

Im forever buying stuff that the missus has no say in, the first she knows about it is when I tell her not to go out cos im expecting a delivery lol.
Bought the Fiesta with her having no knowledge, came home from working abroad got in the front door, before she could jump me with the usual hugs and kisses I told her to get her coat on cos we were going to pick it up

Got a L200 warrior, figured it was essential for work. Getting that truck contributed to 20% of my marriage break up. Fortunatly its gone now and I have a ford and we're back togeather again. Happy days. We had seperate money and it didn't work after 6 years. Now she gets it all and I have a secret stash account, she sorts all the bills now and I pay regular trips to Burtons. Figured this works much better.
