copper fuel lines?????

i would avoid it on fuel injection due to the higher fuel pressure. carbed are not so much of a problem with it only being a few psi, you can just push a rubber hose over the top and jubilee clip it.
the first and second 205's (1.4s on carbs) had the fuel lines run internally in copper with that twisty cable wrap stuff to protect it. Never had any problems, although the first car ended up on its roof on the second stage the next one only did a handfull of events too lol.
personally i would go for braided if you can afford it, but make sure you get the ptfe lined stuff otherwise you will be knocked out by petrol fumes every time you open the door.
you can get some black cotton braided stuff too for high pressure systems, think demon tweaks sell it.

Isn't copper used for replacement brake lines? I'd have thought if it was OK for that it would be OK on fuel lines.
Edited to add, it might be Cunifer they use, not copper?

i would never use copper fuel lines, too soft and easily kinked, breaks easy and would lose some i.d where you fit jubliee clips.
brake pipes are different as you swage the ends and the soft metal getting squashed makes the seal in the fitting.
