Any sort of driver training is worth it IMO.
Done quite a few. Track and road ones. They are worth it to build confidence, create awareness and build on skills.

Ive been driving for 13 years now and i am what i would consider a competent and safe driver, but i went on a speed awareness course a few days ago and i learnt a few things and am quite keen to do an advanced road course now.

Ive done the IAM advanced driving. Its worth it. Does teach you more awareness and how to drive more economically and safely. Makes you drive more mindfully and pay attention!
I can switch it on and off though and most of the time I dont drive like that!
Driving an M3 round Oulten Park was also a great way to learn about cornering at high speed!
