Are you sinking them into a dash or fibre glassing over the top to make it look like a normal gauge pod?

Yeh for a mk4 dash Not to sure yet mate. I will be putting my dash back in later so ill have a play about with them..

Yes they are a really good fit, the mrs was looking at me strange when i was searching round the house with a tape measure in my hands lol.
no i was going to leave them as they are just mount them on the
dash somewhere & hide the wiring.

I use plastic gutter cut down to the correct length. Made in most sizes and easy to find everywhere. Easy to work with plastic over metal imo.
