performance ford mag this month
Has anyone else got it. I thought it was good this month. I liked the write up on the racing puma. I also like the V8 focus. I bet thats fun on track.

I stopped buying it because it used to frustrate me how badly produced it was, had become a real joke IMHO with loads of really annoying errors all the time (dave moss's feature being a prime example, was disgusting that clearly the editor couldnt even be fucked to get someone to proof read it, not what you expect after putting all that effort into building a car and being kind enough to let them feature it), but I must give it another look now that its in new hands.
Hopefully we'll get back to the stage of having 2 rival ford mags both worth buying as im convinced the competition is good for the consumer.

Don't hold back Chip, will you...
It's the subs job to proof read the articles, not the Editor's otherwise publishers the world over wouldn't need sub editors would they?!
Unity had some issues with subs in the past, amongst other things, so trying to do everything there as well as edit the magazine is a pretty tall order, not that I'd expect you to understand.
I can assure you nothing was ever due to a lack of passion or effort though.

I picked it up by chance when in the que at the petrol station this morning. Saw it had a feature on the classic lemans, so was hoping a pic of my 3dr may have snuck in that feature some where...no luck though. The white 3dr was spotted by half of our camp whilst they were out on a beer restock run to Arnarge....would have liked to have gotten a pic of mine with the Ford Heritage car I'll have a read of the rest of the mag later

Dave, indeed and like I said the editor couldnt be fucked to get anyone to spend literally five minutes to proof read it.
Mistakes happen of course, no mag is perfect but stuff like the article saying one make of part then the techspec contradicting it with another and a sentence thats halfway through then just starts a new paragraph both in the same article etc really did make it look like no one even read it before hitting print.
