cheers guys/gals..it was a long day and the CPS...turned up with new eveidence....cctv that clearly showed me just forced into the crowd/riot..by police and 1 idiot come over in a threatening manor and it showed how id delt with him in a professional manor compared to the training ive had and what i could have done...but in all honestesty all i wanted was my young cousin out of there which i did with minimal effort imo....
im glad im free...ive ended up with 3 months added to my suspended sentance, Ł340 court costs...and a anger management course..
so im free to take TIM RUD for a pint if your up for it mate...

congratulations mate you were very lucky without the cctv it could have gone either way
glad also that you are going to take anger management it will help you

on the anger management side of thing were you actually angry or just reacting in a cold and instinctive way??
I ask as there is a difference. Everyone seems to think anger management means your foaming at the mouth when someone winds you up and yes that can be the case but IMO id say its more about impulse control than pure anger. You didnt say you saw red or anything. thinking from it like that would anger management actually help you that much?? or would help be better directed towards unlearning some of the impulsive/instinctive reactions you so often need in emergency situations in the forces so that you stop and think in a civvy sense before you act.
Not saying you didnt think when you acted cos youve said you did, but the mentality was very much forces way of doing things rather than the civvy PC bullshit way we are expected to behave!
