Just got a text off Mat about todays events

He is a free man - He got an extended suspended sentence (not sure of term as he didn't say) and a Ł340 fine.

CCTV showed him protecting his cousin from the football thug which went in his favour


He'll be on later to give more details

cheers guys/gals..it was a long day and the CPS...turned up with new eveidence....cctv that clearly showed me just forced into the crowd/riot..by police and 1 idiot come over in a threatening manor and it showed how id delt with him in a professional manor compared to the training ive had and what i could have done...but in all honestesty all i wanted was my young cousin out of there which i did with minimal effort imo....

im glad im free...ive ended up with 3 months added to my suspended sentance, Ł340 court costs...and a anger management course..

so im free to take TIM RUD for a pint if your up for it mate...

i could never let a man or anyone im with down ive allways stood my ground as trained... im not happy for what ive done but i had a split descision and the only thing i wanted actually happened i got my young`en home safe...mission complete even tho it nearly got me to jail.

If its someone you love and care alot about its only natural to retaliate i think. Its mindless violence the courts cant condone i think and yours obviously wasnt a case of this and they saw that.
