Default Do many on here use Skype.

Have used it for a while to talk/Video to Annies brothers in canada because its free .
However used it recently to broadcast 'live' pictures of my father inlaws funeral (The service not the cremation) to Canada because his sons could not come over.
Set up on the Churches audio/visual & the whole thing sent as it happened. Quality was first class & they were able to speak to all the relatives afterwards. Didnt realise it was this versatile & all for free.

Never used it tbh, got some family in Australia but as Talk Talk was free was easier to ring.

Nice gesture on the Funeral part Rod.

Yeah I use it, it's great quality if your internet connection is half decent, superb service considering it's free!

Used it for two years now to call the UK. I pay 40 euros a year for a Skype out number so people in the UK can call me on my PC using a UK 0191 number and I can chat to the wife and family and friends for no extra cost over that.

The video calling on Skype to Skype is so much better than MSN Live Messenger. I just wish Google would stop being bastards and allow Skype to release a client for Android, then it would be perfect.

Doesn't work over WiFi which kind of defeats the object of it.

Google Voice is US only right now and doesn't work cross platform to Skype, so no good either.

Cheers anyway.
