What do EFi XR3i's go for these days?
Are they pulling much of a premium yet? Theres on in my local scrap yard which is apparently pretty tidy got a scabby rear arch but fuse box and battery tray are good, its a black late 90 spec, EFI engined XR3i with a bust gearbox and they want £200 for it. Going to take a look at it tomorrow, but are they worth buying to tidy up and sell on?
Saying that I could buy it and store it in the barn for a few years untill they are worth something

Well I'm going to take a look at it tomorrow, see if it's worth saving, but I just wondered what the ballpark figure was for re-sale on an average condition example. If it was £600-800 it would be worth tidying up to sell on.

Should easily get £600-800 for it mate!! I bought a mfi one for 300 notes, then put s1 wheels on, got it mopped, years ticket, lowered it, 90spec recaros, and i got offered a grand for it last week

Too many posts.. I need a life!!
ive been to see this same xr3i at the local scrappy. had a real good look round it. it has mint xr2 recaros. the rear sill is fucked. one of the arch's is gone. but the fuse box is untouched. also the battry try is good. it does turn over. the sunroof seemed ok. dash is in good condition. it also has the original imobiliser wich still works. it has 2 flat tyres and all 4 are so bold they could be sold to F1, theres a spare sierra cosworth wheel in the boot. it doesnt have any bad leaks as i checked the oil and water. me and conor came this close to buying it but would only turn it into a track car if we did
