After buying a shitting 3gs this week i fucking want the new one 
Cant use the 3gs on o2 as its vodafone and i dont want to jailbreak.
So if i buy the phone from apple can i just go to o2 and get my sim changed to the micro one? Fucking o2 aren't selling them on no contract yet.
tesco have them for £479 pay and go. So are these fuckers locked also?

I've decided to just buy us both the new one instead.
Did you get on your contract? Or i think you said bought outright? Did you post the thread about cutting the sim cards? Did you do that?
I think if i go to o2 store they can replace the card there.

o2 will give you a micro sim if you need it. I popped into one tonight on the way home from buying mine and was handed the micro sim and the url to go to so you can swap the details over from one sim to another sim.

As for SIM cutting down, there are tools you can buy to do that, or just use a stanley like I will be

A software update won't fix the reception issues - which is a HARDWARE problem due to the stainless steel band, which is part of the antenna, shorting out when you touch it. You'll need a new handset - one thats been built properly...

lol tis was my mate says, infact he prefers the 3gs as he said its nicer looking fits better in your hand and dont look like a sony ericsson!! camera is good though

Bought a 32 gig outright, get a micro sim from O2 in store and get them to transfer yout tariff over to the micro

Hopefully I will enjoy it more than you guys as I only had the 3G and didnt like it so moved to Nokia N97 which Ive had since launch so it will all feel new to me again.

about this 500mb thing that people are complaining about. thats fucking LOADS.
im expecting my iphone 4 2day and with o2 i done the £40 per month, 600mins, unlimited texts, unlimited wifi, 500mb 3g.
i thought at first thats bullshit but when i rang 02 they looked at my previous months on my 3g and i only ever topped 175mb and i use mine alot.
so no dramas really,
