Went to Bolton Gun club on Sunday for a charity shoot out. Its the first time i've ever fired a shotgun, and admittedly i could have picked a better week after everything that has happened.

Had a really good time, and managed to hit 23/30 which wasn't bad i don't think.

Any body else go shooting?

I dont think so tbh. I'll just use their guns when i go again. Having just moved back to the UK i have more urgent things to buy like a new 5 Iron

 

5 Iron.....oh dear....just throw golf balls in the air and blast them with the shotgun!

Looks like you were using a Semi Auto, they are good fun for clays....But you end up firing loads of shells! (expensive) lol

 

yeah and piss of the person to your right when they eject lol.

been shooting since I was 10ish and 23/30 is good for a first attempt..

can just see the top of the trap, looks like a Promatic Hawk to me. We got a couple of those at our club

 

you might find your more of a shooter than a golfer now........

 

Shooting definitely easier i know that!

 

You fire the same in clay shooting as with any gun
