Default claying again

Right my paint work feels pretty smooth BUT the bottoms of the doors have got a few little bits of annoying tar which wont come off, clay will remove this yes?

Secondly how do you use it? just use some lube and wipe over the surface like you would when drying?

Lastly what clay would be best for a red bmw? also keeping in mind removing tar is my main concern.

Actually i think theres something other than clay you can buy for this?

I personally use Autosmart Tardis but if its something you want to get pretty soon the Autoglym Tar remover is good, just spray on leave for 20-30seconds then wipe off with a clean microfibre cloth

Clay will remove tar but its better to use tar remover
As for clay i mostly use Sonus Green if i am not polishing the car as it is not very aggressive as anything more agressive will leave marring to the paint that will need machine polishing to remove.

Hope this helps

After you have done the tar remover, make sure there is no residue left on the paintwork before you start claying by wiping properly. It needs to be totally clean. You will know what happens if there is any residue left,

Sonus Green is great for the money.

As for tar remover, I'd use Chemical Guys Bug Bugger & Tar Remover. Top stuff IMO
