Default fuel pump issues

my mg maestro rally car keeps chewing up fuel pumps for some reason , (not while i have had it )

i dont want to have to retire from a rally due to this , so looking to buy and uprated bosch one , that my cossie has ,

but i`am unsure of what flow rate / rating etc would be suitable for my 2.0 efi

anyone know how to work this out or suggest a suitable pump?

Depeding on what power you are pushing ?, a std 941 cossie pump will be fine on efi up to around 400 reliably, if the pumps are getting eaten by foreign matter ingres dirt crap etc any pump will fail, I'd be looking at that first.

Almost any efi pumnp would be capanle of a 2.0 n/a engine.

More important, what sort of fittings does it require ?

And why is yours failing ? is it adequately filtered ? does it have an adequate fuel supply ?
